Answer: Regular maintenance of your car is very important. Regular, timely oil changes will extend the life of your engine. The type of engine oil you should use depends mainly on when your car was built.

Examples:

• If your car was built between 2014-2018 and is powered by a 2.0-litre TFSI engine, choose 5W-40 engine oil
• If your car was built between 2018-2021 and is powered by a 2.0-litre TFSI quattro (137 kW) engine, I recommend 0W-20 engine oil.
• Use only fully synthetic oil
